Two British women have died alongside eight dogs after four vehicles were involved in a crash in Romania. The fatal collision involved two lorries, a van and a minibus in which the two victims were travelling in Caras Severin county, western Romania.
Victims pronounced dead at the scene
The women were aged 41 and 61 and were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The minibus, which was registered in the UK, was also carrying 10 dogs, eight of which have been killed.
Investigation under way
A manslaughter investigation is ongoing.
