Police have arrested a man and a woman after responding to a concern for the safety of children at a house in north Liverpool.
Arrests and hospitalisation
Officers visited the property on Tuesday morning (July 4) following the report. A 29-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, both from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of assault, ill-treatment, neglect, or abandonment of a child, causing unnecessary suffering or injury. They are in police custody for questioning.
Three children under the age of three were taken to hospital as a precaution to be checked over.
