Three Women Stabbed in Paris, One Pregnant

Three women, including one who is pregnant, have been stabbed in what appears to be an unprovoked attack in Paris. Two victims are reported to be fighting for their lives while receiving emergency care, according to BFMTV.

Suspect Arrested at Scene

A 31-year-old male suspect, thought to suffer from mental health difficulties, was apprehended at the location where authorities say he was carrying two blades. Emergency responders attended to the three casualties on the pavement in Porte de Clichy, in northwest Paris. They were then transported urgently to hospital.

Interior Minister Laurent Nunez confirmed the suspect was restrained by an off-duty officer who observed the incident. He noted the man made "incoherent statements" and cautioned against speculation regarding his motivation.
