Tesla Driver Branded 'Moron' After Parking on Cornwall Beach and Swearing at Locals

A Tesla driver has been branded a 'moron' after driving his vehicle onto a beach in Cornwall and parking it there, before telling a local to 'f**k off' when challenged. The incident occurred on Tregirls Beach in Padstow, where the driver eventually got the car stuck in the sand.

The white Tesla, bearing a parking permit for the upmarket Barnes district of southwest London, was driven straight onto the beach in front of bewildered onlookers. It remained there for approximately four hours before attempts to leave began. One beachgoer from Truro confronted the male driver, informing him that parking on the beach was not permitted, only to be told to 'f**k off'.

The witness told Cornwall Live: 'I said to him that he can't park on the beach in Cornwall. He then asked me to 'f**k off' and said that he can park wherever he feels like. He was also shouting at an older lady who told him to move the car from the beach.' The witness added that local people 'have so much on their plate' and should not have to deal with such behaviour.

By 5pm, the driver was still attempting to free the vehicle with the help of what is thought to be a local farmer. The route he used to access the beach is relied upon by emergency services in life-saving situations, and had been used just 24 hours earlier when a man suffered a cardiac arrest in the sea while trying to rescue two family members. The man, a local resident in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
