Two teenage boys from north Wales have been charged with multiple offences following reports of an "altercation" in Chester city centre.

Cheshire Police were called to reports of an incident on Foregate Street, Chester, at around 7.45pm on Thursday, August 6, involving a group of youths.
A 14-year-old boy has since been charged with affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, five counts of common assault, one count of section 18 assault, assaulting an emergency worker occasioning actual bodily harm and escape from lawful custody.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with common assault, assaulting an emergency worker occasioning actual bodily harm and aiding escape from lawful custody.
Court appearance
Both boys will appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 19.
A further three teenage boys, all aged 13, were arrested in relation to the incident and have since been released on bail.
