Two teenage boys have been arrested after a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped at a park in Bradford, West Yorkshire Police said.
The force launched an investigation after receiving a report of the incident. The girl reported being raped at around 6pm on Wednesday, August 5.
Investigation and Arrests
A police cordon was placed around Pitt Hill park in Holme Wood, Bradford, where the alleged offence is reported to have taken place. Two boys, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody.
The teenage girl is being supported by specially trained officers while enquiries continue, police said in a statement.
Appeal for Information
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information about the alleged incident to come forward and contact the force.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Detectives are investigating after a report of a rape on Pitt Hill park in Holme Wood. A 15 year old girl reported being raped at around 6pm yesterday (August 5). Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody. Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford District Safeguarding Team. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact West Yorkshire Police as officers continue their enquiries."
