A 15-year-old boy was shot in a park in Birmingham on Thursday night and taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Emergency services were called to Newtown Row in the city centre just after 10:30pm on 23 July after the teenager was found with gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital.
It is believed the boy was shot in a nearby park on Porchester Street, near Newtown Shopping Centre, according to Birmingham Live.
Police Response
West Midlands Police confirmed that CCTV enquiries are underway and there will be an increased police presence in the area in the coming days.
The force said: "We're investigating after a teenager was discovered with a gun shot wound on Newtown Row, Newtown at just after 10.30pm yesterday (23 July).
"It’s understood he was shot at the nearby park by Porchester Street.
"The 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or changing.
"We're carrying out a range of enquiries - including a thorough review of CCTV - to establish exactly what happened and who was involved.
"We understand how concerning this will be and we've increased patrols in the area."
