Seventy-five firefighters and partner agency staff are battling a large scrapyard fire in Talacre, Flintshire. Crews were called to Station Road as plumes of smoke rose into the sky.
Advice for residents
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service urged local residents to keep windows and doors closed and to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the incident. A statement said: "Firefighters and several appliances are currently in attendance at a large fire at a scrapyard on Station Road in Talacre.
Police support
North Wales Police added: "Officers remain at the location to support colleagues from the fire service. Please avoid the area until further notice so emergency services can operate without hindrance."
