Six Injured in Serious Lanarkshire Crash

Six people, including three children, were injured in a serious crash on the M8 in Lanarkshire early on Saturday, July 11. The incident occurred at around 2am at the junction near Chapelhall, involving a Mercedes Vito mini van and an HGV.

Details of the Crash

Road policing officers are appealing for information following the collision. The three adults and three children from the mini van were taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the HGV was not injured.

Sergeant Elaine Scott said: "I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible."

Road Reopened and Police Appeal

The road reopened around 7.30am on the same date. Sergeant Scott added: "I want to thank members of the public for their patience while we investigated this serious crash."
