Six people were taken to hospital after a crash on Moss Bank Way in Bolton left one car on fire and required a casualty to be freed from a vehicle.

Police, firefighters, and paramedics were called to the scene near its junction with Halliwell Road on Friday night (August 7) following a collision involving two cars.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that a man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody.
Fire service details
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service reported that firefighters extinguished a fire involving one of the cars and used specialist equipment to free a casualty. Police stated that the injuries are not life-changing.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: "Shortly after 9:33pm yesterday evening (Friday 7 August), two fire engines from Bolton Central and Bolton North fire stations and an enhanced rescue unit from Leigh fire station were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars on Moss Bank Way in Bolton.
"Crews arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a fire involving one of the cars and specialist equipment to free one person.
"They also provided trauma care and first aid to six casualties alongside North West Ambulance Service. All six were taken to hospital. Crews worked with Greater Manchester Police to make the area safe."
Crews were in attendance for around one hour and 45 minutes.
