Serial sex offender Simon Levy, 40, has been found guilty at the Old Bailey of murdering two women and raping a third woman in London.
Levy, from Tottenham, north London, was convicted of the murder of Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 54, and Sheryl Wilkins, 39. He was also found guilty of raping a third woman.
Murders in London
Ms Valencia-Trujillo was found dead at a property on the Aylesbury estate in south-east London on March 17 last year. Ms Wilkins was found unresponsive in High Road, Tottenham, on August 24 last year.
Several months earlier, in January last year, Levy carried out a violent sex attack on a woman in a car park in Tottenham in which her collarbone was broken, the Old Bailey heard.
Court proceedings
Levy pleaded not guilty to the two women's murders and further denied two charges of rape, grievous bodily harm with intent, and non-fatal suffocation against the surviving woman.
Prosecutor Tom Little KC told the court that Ms Valencia-Trujillo was found in a block of flats that is "very largely disused" with few residents or passers-by except security guards.
Levy travelled to the area the day before and killed her during the course of a sexual encounter. Mr Little said: "The position her body was left in is similar to that of the other murder."
