Restaurant boss catches man 'about to take a dump'

A Scottish restaurant owner has publicly shamed a group of customers after they were allegedly caught on CCTV using the entrance of his establishment as a lavatory. The incident occurred at The Caddy Mann Restaurant near Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders.

CCTV captures the moment

The footage shows a man and a woman seemingly acting as lookouts while a younger man squats down, holding toilet paper. The video, shared by restaurateur Ross Horrock, has amassed over 2.9 million views since being posted online, according to NeedToKnow.

Horrock commented: "Well, never thought we would have to explain this, butt.... Please Note – our front door is NOT a toilet, toilets are usually made of porcelain and have their own enclosed room inside." He added: "Luckily, these lovely people noticed our cameras before doing their business & moved on, but if you see them around before we do, please can you try explaining the concept of modern day living and toilets to them."

The footage, shared last week, sparked widespread disbelief. One person commented: "I'm still trying to work out why, how, what? ? ? My mind is blown." Another added: "Even if there weren't any cameras why on earth would you decide to do it at a front door." A third questioned: "Why there. There are bushes over the way. Why pick the doorway of all places." Yet another quipped: "What is this, the starting point of the Boston Marathon?" A viewer simply stated: "Busted."

Similar incident at a hair salon

In a separate incident, a couple was allegedly caught having sex inside a hair salon as gobsmacked Wetherspoons punters watched through the window. The pair were reportedly spotted inside Blu Hair and Beauty while drinkers at a neighbouring pub looked on in disbelief. Video of the incident was captured by Gavin Proctor, 41, from Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

The couple could allegedly be seen through the salon's front window, offering passers-by and patrons at a nearby Wetherspoons an unobstructed view. The incident occurred on June 5, as reported by NeedToKnow.com. Astonished witnesses could be heard responding, with one shouting: "He's going for it! Look at that." Others swore and laughed. The footage has clocked up more than 1.7 million views.

The proprietors of Blu Hair and Beauty acknowledged the incident, stating: "We are currently aware of a video circulating online involving a member of our team. The incident took place outside of our business operating hours and does not reflect the professional standards and values we uphold at our salon." They confirmed the matter had been handled internally.
