Police Hunt Buskers After Sexual Assault on Elizabeth Line

Police have released CCTV images of two men they are seeking in connection with a sexual assault on the Elizabeth line. The incident occurred shortly before 11pm on Saturday, June 6, when a group of buskers boarded a train at Whitechapel heading eastbound.

Details of the Assault

According to British Transport Police, the group of buskers entered the train at Whitechapel station. Before alighting at the next stop, Stratford station, two men from the group sexually assaulted a woman. Officers are now appealing for information to identify the individuals captured in the CCTV images.

Detectives believe the men in the images may have crucial information that could assist the ongoing investigation. Anyone who recognizes them or witnessed the assault is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 860 of 6 June.
