Police Cordon at Piccadilly Lidl After Street Brawl

A police cordon was established outside Lidl in Piccadilly Gardens following a street brawl on Monday evening. Officers were dispatched to the bustling area around 10:30 PM on June 15 after receiving reports of a physical altercation among males on the street. Paramedics also attended the scene, and one man was transported to the hospital.

Injuries Not Life-Threatening

According to a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, the man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Last night, images showed police tape encircling a section of pavement outside the Lidl supermarket. Multiple police vehicles were present at the scene as inquiries were conducted within the cordon.

Police Statement

In a statement, the GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called to Piccadilly Gardens over reports of males fighting in the street. One man was taken to hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening or life changing. Enquiries are ongoing."
