Police appeal after Hamilton assault, man hospitalised

Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Hamilton that left a 54-year-old man hospitalised. The incident occurred on High Parks Crescent in Eddlewood around 3:30pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Suspect Description

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium to stocky build and short, dark, receding hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark shorts.

Police Appeal

Detective Constable Muhammad Yasar stated: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. In particular, we would like to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage which could assist our enquiries.”
