Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Airdrie. The incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, in the Luing area.
A 45-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment after the attack. Police have described the suspect as a white man, in his mid-twenties, of slim build, with dark hair.
Detective Constable Martin Daly stated: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault to contact us. We would also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage to review it and come forward if it captured anything that could assist our enquiries."
