A woman and a five-month-old baby have died after a boat capsized near the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbour.
Rescue and Recovery
The Coast Guard pulled a dozen survivors from the water after a 22ft motorboat flipped over. Divers later found the infant and the woman, who were airlifted to a Brooklyn hospital in critical condition but died.
Investigation
It is unclear if the victims are related, or what caused the boat to capsize.
