Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, has been found guilty on two counts of rape and sentenced to four years in prison. The 29-year-old faced a total of 40 charges, including allegations of raping four women, domestic abuse, and other crimes.
Guilty Verdict on Multiple Charges
Høiby pleaded not guilty to the four rape charges but admitted to several driving offenses, an aggravated drugs offense, breaking a restraining order, and partially to threats and aggravated assault. According to the BBC, three judges at Oslo District Court cleared him of two other rape counts but found him guilty of many other offenses.
