A man has shared how he got revenge on his dad for kicking him out of the family home because he thought he was "acting gay". Although he insists he isn't gay, the man said his father became increasingly hostile towards him because he believed his mannerisms and interests were too "flamboyant".
Revenge plan
Eventually, his dad threw him out, leaving him to fend for himself. Years later, determined to teach his father a lesson about acceptance, he came up with a revenge plan that ended up costing his father thousands of pounds.
Sharing his experience on Reddit, he said: "My dad assumed I was gay and just started being so nasty towards me. I'm not, but I just can't control how I act. Anyway, I remembered that in 2022, he lost a court case and had to pay £5,000, but the court forgot about it.
"I sent them an email recently reminding them, and they said they're recalling the case for the fine to be paid."
Online reaction
The man suggested the unpaid penalty had evidently been overlooked, stating: "Considering it's been four years and there's been no contact between him and the court, it's safe to assume it's just been forgotten about."
His account swiftly generated discussion, with numerous commenters suggesting his father was now reaping what he had sown.
