A man has been left seriously injured after being stabbed while sitting in his car in south Manchester. The incident happened on Fog Lane, close to Burnage train station, at around 1:30am on Thursday morning (August 13). The man was taken to hospital.
Arrests and Investigation
A female passenger in the car was unharmed during the attack. Greater Manchester Police have arrested a man and woman in connection with the incident, with both remaining in custody for questioning. A cordon is in place on Fog Lane with a crime scene investigation (CSI) van also on the scene.
Police Statement
A GMP spokesperson described the incident as 'isolated' with 'no wider threat to the public'.
