Man Stabbed in Ayr Home, Police Investigate

A man has been discovered with stab wounds at a residence in South Ayrshire. Police were summoned to the property on Davidson Place in Ayr at approximately 3:30 PM on Saturday.

Emergency services confirmed that the 57-year-old victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. Police Scotland stated that extensive inquiries are ongoing as officers work to determine the circumstances surrounding the man's injuries.

Detective Constable Stewart Gordon issued an appeal: 'I am urging anyone who was in the vicinity around the time of the incident to consider if they noticed or observed anything suspicious. Even the smallest detail could prove crucial, so please share it with us. I also ask anyone with dash cam or doorbell recording equipment to review their footage for any images that might assist our investigation.'
