Man in Hospital After Glassing Outside Rochdale Pub

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a glassing outside a pub in Rochdale town centre. Greater Manchester Police said the injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

Incident Outside Hogarths Pub

The attack occurred outside Hogarths, a former bank on The Butts Avenue. Police were called to reports of two men fighting outside the pub at around 7pm on Thursday. The injured man, who has not been named, was taken to hospital and remained there as of Friday.

Police Investigation

Officers cordoned off an area between The Butts Avenue and South Parade as investigations began. Pictures from the scene showed police vehicles and officers guarding the cordon. Police said enquiries are ongoing and no further details have been released.
