A man in his 20s was raped in an alleyway in Slough, Berkshire, in the early hours of yesterday. The victim was walking down a long alley just before Pickford Gardens when another man shouted at him in a local accent, exposed himself, and then attacked him, according to Thames Valley Police.
Offender description
The offender is described as a white man in his early twenties with a skinny build, short brown hair, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 9ins tall, and an English accent.
Police investigation and appeal
Detective Inspector Liam Butler said officers have been carrying out enquiries since the rape was reported. He said: "We understand an incident of this nature will cause concern within the community. This investigation remains in its early stages and we are working hard to establish the full circumstances."
Detectives will carry out door-to-door enquiries and CCTV checks in the area. A visible police presence will remain overnight and over the coming days to provide reassurance. Residents are encouraged to speak to officers if they have any concerns or information.
Butler appealed for anyone who saw the incident or part of it to come forward. He said: "We are particularly keen to hear from motorists with dash-cam footage recorded in the area around the time of the offence, as this may assist our investigation."
