A man has died following a collision between a car and a lorry on the A489 near Caersws, Powys, on Sunday morning. Dyfed-Powys Police said the crash involved a beige Honda Civic and a white Renault HGV.
Driver airlifted to hospital
The man driving the Honda Civic was airlifted to hospital but later died, the force said in a statement. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Police appeal for information
No other injuries were reported in the crash, police said. The collision happened at around 10am.
