A man was assaulted in Bury town centre this morning, prompting a police cordon and CSI attendance. The incident occurred on Silver Street at around 9am on Sunday, June 14.
Police Response
Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene, which was subsequently taped off. The Manchester Evening News understands that the man sustained injuries, though they are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made in connection with the assault at this stage.
