Vandalism Spree on Moseley Road
The incident occurred on Friday morning around 10am along Moseley Road. The attacker smashed not only windscreens but also back and side windows of numerous cars. Videos circulating on social media showed a man swinging a crowbar at vehicles while a car horn sounded in alarm. One eyewitness estimated that over 40 cars were damaged.
Arrest and Charges
West Midlands Police responded to reports of a man damaging vehicles. Officers arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of causing criminal damage. A crowbar was recovered at the scene, leading to an additional arrest for possession of an offensive weapon. Police acknowledged the concern caused by the incident.
This event follows a similar vandalism case last month, where a mystery man smashed the windows of a £200,000 Aston Martin and sprayed 'CHEATER' on its bonnet at a London golf club.
