A lane on the M4 in Cardiff has closed after a crash, with reports of slow traffic in the area. Traffic Wales has urged drivers to expect delays on the M4 eastbound at junction 29 and junction 30, Cardiff Gate. Lane three has closed to all traffic, and M4 cameras show drivers at a standstill with emergency services at the scene.

A Traffic Wales spokesperson said: "M4 J30 Cardiff Gate to J29 Castleton travelling eastbound. Lane three closed due to a collision. Expect delays if you're in the area. Take care when passing."
Busy holiday traffic
The motorway is also very busy in both directions around the Newport area as the holiday season continues. Long delays are reported on the M4 eastbound on Friday evening after the crash at Cardiff Gate.
