Katie Hopkins was reportedly involved in a heated altercation at a London pub during England's World Cup opener against Croatia, leading to her being ejected from the establishment.
Incident at the Dundee Arms
The far-right political pundit was watching England's 4-2 victory over Croatia on Wednesday, June 17, at the Dundee Arms in Bethnal Green when tensions escalated. Video footage obtained by Sell Us Your Story shows a man telling Hopkins to leave the pub, to which she responds with an expletive. She then appears to lunge at the man and gestures with her middle fingers to the crowd, some of whom were chanting explicit slogans, according to MyLondon.
Chants and Ejection
Fans chanted "out, out, out" as Hopkins stared them down before eventually exiting. As she left, she allegedly knocked a phone out of a videographer's hand. The reason for her removal remains unclear.
Controversial Figure
Hopkins, 51, is known for her divisive opinions and has faced allegations of racism, Islamophobia, fat-shaming, and classism. She was sacked from LBC in 2017 after comments about the Manchester Arena bombing and permanently banned from Twitter in 2020 for violating hateful conduct policies.
Previous Incidents
In 2019, Hopkins claimed to be a victim of a hate crime after a pro-Brexit sign was stolen from her home. She posted on social media: "Someone stole my 8th Leave sign. It is a hate crime. I am frightened to live in this country. I'd leave but everywhere else is more s***." She did not leave the UK.
