The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a warning to the UK and the Royal Family, stating that any base used to invade Iranian territory is a legitimate target.
Threat from IRGC
In a press release, the IRGC said: "Any base used to invade Iranian territory is our legitimate target." It also warned the British monarchy, calling it "the main cause of the misfortunes of the people of our region" and accusing it of having a dark record.
The threat follows the use of RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire by the US Air Force for bombing missions against Iran using B1 bombers.
