Fire crews have responded to a large blaze on Posbrook Lane in Titchfield, Hampshire, with plumes of smoke visible from the M27 motorway.

Motorists reported smoke sweeping across the skyline while driving on the M27, with a strong smell of smoke approaching Fareham. One person on social media said: "We're in Fareham and can smell smoke and have ash blowing into the windows." Another added: "Smoke also coming as far as Fareham train station."
