Four people have been arrested following a violent incident on Christmas Day in Gamesley, near Glossop, Derbyshire. Police were called to Bradwell Lea at 4.20pm after reports of an assault.
A man in his late teens suffered serious head injuries and remains in a serious condition in hospital. Another man, also in his late teens, arrived at Glossop police station shortly afterwards with stab wounds to his abdomen; he is in a stable condition.
CCTV footage from the scene appears to show a firearm being discharged, but neither victim sustained gunshot wounds, and police do not believe anyone was injured by a firearm. Armed officers later arrested three men and one woman at a property on Hollins Close in Gamesley.
Derbyshire Police believe the victims and suspects are known to each other and have confirmed there is no wider threat to the public. The investigation is in its early stages, and officers are appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone with CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam footage.
