Five teens seriously injured in Halloween house party stabbing

Five teenage boys suffered serious injuries in a stabbing at a Halloween house party in Chandler's Ford on the evening of October 31, Hampshire Police has confirmed.

Officers were called just after 10.30pm to reports that five teenagers, three aged 16 and two aged 17, had been stabbed. All five were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Unknown Group Entered Party

When officers arrived at the scene, it was established that an unknown group had gained entry to a party at an address in Park Road. An investigation has been launched, with scenes in place in Park Road and Valley Road.

Overnight, officers began their enquiries, speaking with witnesses, identifying CCTV and other footage, and making enquiries at neighbouring houses and in a number of other nearby streets. Those enquiries continue today.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Senior investigating officer DCI Elizabeth Pirie said: "We are already hard at work identifying anyone who was at the party who may be able to assist our enquiries, whether that be having directly witnessed what took place, having filmed any footage which may be relevant, or who may be able to help us identify the unknown group."

Pirie added: "I understand the response the local community may have to hearing about this incident this morning, and I do not underestimate the impact our scenes will be having on those living in the area. These scenes are vitally important for our enquiries and we are grateful to the understanding of our communities whilst we work to establish the facts."

How to Provide Information

Police particularly want to hear from anyone who was at the party and has not yet spoken with officers, or anyone with CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage covering Park Road and the surrounding area.

Residents are urged to get in touch by dialling 101 and quoting reference 44260534624, or by visiting the Hampshire Police website. Information can also be submitted anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers, either by phoning 0800 555 111 or through their website.
