Emergency services rushed to Cowdenbeath High Street in Fife on Sunday evening, July 12, after a disturbance left one man with blood pouring from his head. Police Scotland received a report of the incident at around 6pm, and officers along with ambulance crews attended the scene.
Man Taken to Hospital
A man was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident. Police have not released details about the extent or seriousness of his injuries. Eyewitnesses reported that a man was left covered in blood after the alleged disturbance.
Arrest and Charge
A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance. He was released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date. Images from the scene show multiple police vehicles parked outside a photography studio and a florist, with an ambulance seen in the distance and four police officers attending to a man on the ground.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Sunday, July 12, officers received a report of a disturbance on High Street, Cowdenbeath. One man was taken to hospital for treatment. A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and was released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service was contacted for comment but has not yet responded.
