The family of a young woman who died in a car crash in Buckinghamshire shortly after completing her college studies have paid tribute to her.
The crash happened at around 2.20am on September 3, when a red Ford Fiesta carrying four people left the road and collided with a tree near the junction of Horns Lane and Lane End Road in High Wycombe.
Police previously said a "woman in her late teens" died at the scene, while three other people in the car suffered minor injuries. On Monday, the victim was identified by police as Acacia.
Family tribute
In a tribute released through Thames Valley Police, the family said they were "beyond heartbroken at the tragic loss of our beautiful Acacia". They described her as a "very much loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin".
The tribute said: "From a young age Acacia had a real love of animals, especially reptiles. This eventually led to her studying Animal Management at BCA [Berkshire College of Agriculture]."
"Having recently finished college, Acacia started working two part-time jobs which really helped her confidence grow. I watched her flourish from a child who struggled socially to a young woman who would talk to anyone!"
Remembering Acacia
In quieter moments, the tribute said, "Acacia loved to read, build Lego and spend her time surrounded by nature. From the moment she was born, she became my world. Forever by my side and always making me laugh with her amazing sense of humour."
The tribute added: "Our world will never be the same again. My daughter, my best friend, my "Bubs". I will love you and miss you forever."
Thames Valley Police previously said a 19-year-old woman from High Wycombe had been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
