Driver walks away from horror crash in Bolton

A driver miraculously walked away from a horror crash in Bolton after two cars collided on Halliwell Road on Friday night (August 7).

Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 9.45pm following reports of a collision involving two cars.

Greater Manchester Police said there were no injuries reported following the incident and that no arrests have been made.

Fire service statement

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Shortly after 9:48pm yesterday evening (Friday 7 August), a fire engine from Bolton Central fire station was called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles outside on Halliwell Road in Bolton.

“Crews arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters isolated the vehicles to make them safe before handing over the incident to Greater Manchester Police.”

The spokesperson added: “Crews were in attendance for around 20 minutes.”
