Diddy rushed to hospital from prison with head injury

Disgraced music mogul Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was reportedly rushed to hospital to be treated for a head injury. On Saturday, October 10, an ambulance was seen leaving New Jersey's Fort Dix prison around 1am.

Although the cause of his injury is unknown, it appears not to have been serious, as he was transported back to prison grounds on the same day. Reports from TMZ indicate he was conscious and speaking in the ambulance during his return.

Prison sentence and background

The 56-year-old has been behind bars since October 2025, where he is serving a 50-month sentence following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

This latest drama comes after a turbulent few weeks for Diddy, who was placed in a special housing unit amid claims he was enjoying a lavish lifestyle behind bars.

Loss of good conduct time

The shamed rapper was said to be getting massages, alcohol and using a mobile phone to look at nude photos. As a result, he was stripped of 41 days of good conduct time, which now pushes his projected release date back from January 2028 to March 2028.

This followed an incident in July where he spent time in solitary confinement after an altercation with another prisoner. The fight allegedly began after the other inmate made a remark about him, but what was said has not been made clear.

Trial and sentencing

Diddy was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges following his high-profile trial in 2025, but was jailed after being found guilty on the prostitution-related offences.

During the trial, his former partner, Cassie Ventura, testified that she had been coerced into taking part in what were described as "freak-offs" throughout their relationship.

He denied the sex trafficking allegations and was ultimately acquitted of those charges, as well as racketeering. At his sentencing, the rapper apologised to Ventura, telling the court: "My actions were disgusting, shameful and sick."

He added: "I was sick, sick from the drugs, I was out of control, I needed help, and I didn't get the help, and I can make no excuse.

"I am not this larger than life person — I am just a human being, I was trying my best, I got lost in my excess and lost in my ego."

Prison role and rehabilitation

Since his sentencing, he reportedly took on one of the prison's more sought-after jobs working as a chaplain's assistant. This means he helps maintain the religious library, carrying out administrative duties and cleaning the chaplain's office.

The music producer is also enrolled in Fort Dix's Residential Drug Abuse Programme (RDAP). Participation in the programme can reduce an inmate's sentence by up to a year if they successfully complete it and meet the qualifying criteria.

His publicist, Juda Engelmayer, previously said Diddy had described the role as providing a "warm, respectful, and rewarding" environment.
