Merseyside Police has released a CCTV image of a man who could have information following a serious assault in Liverpool city centre earlier this month.
On Sunday, October 4, at around 5.30am, it was reported that a man punched two other males, both aged in their 20s, in Concert Square.
Victim treated for fractured skull
One of the men required hospital treatment for a fractured skull and has since been discharged. The second victim suffered minor facial injuries.
An investigation has been ongoing since the incident, and Merseyside Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Police appeal for witnesses
Detective Inspector Lee Egerton said: “This was a nasty and completely unprovoked assault that left a man with a serious head injury.”
“We are determined to find the person responsible and would appeal to anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward.”
“If you recognise the man in this image, please let us know as we believe he could have information about what happened.”
Anyone with information should contact Merseyside Police social media desk via X or Facebook @MerPolCC with reference number 26000814093.
