A 17-year-old boy and two men have died following a car crash in Rotherham. South Yorkshire Police were called to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Denaby Lane at 11.39pm on Saturday, August 8.

Crash details

Officers say that a grey Seat Cupra Leon was travelling towards Kilnhurst when it left the carriageway. Despite the efforts of emergency services, a 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 21 and 23, were pronounced dead at the scene. Another 17-year-old teenage boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries, police say.

Police appeal

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: 'Their families have been informed and are being supported by officers. A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries.'
