A four-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Southport yesterday.
Incident details
Merseyside Police received a report that a boy had been hit on the Promenade in Southport at around 4.55pm on Monday, August 3. Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Craig Alexander Murray, who was in the area at the time, captured footage of an air ambulance landing at King's Gardens nearby but said the child was actually taken away in a standard ambulance.

Craig told the ECHO: "Three police cars turned up. Both parents sat with the child and they had other children with them."
