Police have launched a manhunt after a four-year-old boy was abducted from a park in the West Midlands. The child was playing near a fish pond at Haden Hill Park in Cradley Heath when he vanished shortly after 3pm on Thursday.
The boy's mother was tending to a baby at the time of the incident. The child was missing for several minutes before being found in woodland close to the park.
Police Appeal for Information
West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens, short in height, with curled hair, clean-shaven, and wearing black clothing.
Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage and have urged anyone who was in the park at the time to share any mobile phone footage. Specially trained officers are supporting the boy and his family.
Community Reassurance
Police believe the incident is isolated but understand the concern it has caused. Extra officers will be patrolling the area in the coming days to provide reassurance.
