A young man has been murdered in a brutal shooting outside a popular Birmingham nightclub, sparking a major police investigation and widespread alarm in the city's Gay Village community.
The victim, identified as a 22-year-old local man, was gunned down in a targeted attack outside Mango Nightclub on Lower Essex Street in the early hours of Sunday morning. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
