A one-year-old girl has been killed and another child is still missing after a hippo attack in Kenya. The incident took place on Tuesday at Mikinduni Village as a canoe carrying 18 farmers and children capsized in the Tana River.
Hippo Attack Causes Canoe to Capsize
The canoe capsized after a hippopotamus attacked the passengers, according to police. The other 16 people were rescued, but the one-year-old girl drowned and the other child, who is a Form Three student, is still missing.
