Firefighters are tackling a house fire on Titchfield Street in Galston, Ayrshire, after flames engulfed the property. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received a report of the fire at around 3.07pm and dispatched three fire engines along with an aerial appliance to the scene.
No casualties reported
It is understood that no casualties have been reported so far. Images from the scene show the roof fully alight, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky and structural beams visible as the fire destroyed much of the roof.
Crews remain at scene
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a report of a house fire on Titchfield Street in Galston around 3.07pm. Three appliances and an aerial were mobilised."
The spokesperson added: "Crews are still in attendance at the scene. There are no reported casualties at this time."
