A 44-year-old man from Truro has been arrested on assault, grievous bodily harm, administering a noxious substance, and theft following the death of Ben Gough, whose body was discovered in a car park in Truro, Cornwall.
Family Pays Tribute
Leanne Gough, Ben's sister, told CornwallLive that the family have "nothing but love for him." She said the death of her brother has "broken their family," stating they will "never recover" from the tragedy.
Paying tribute, Leanne said: "Ben was loved by all of his family more than he can ever imagine. Losing him has broken our family and we will never recover from this. People may have certain views on Ben but his family know the real Ben and he had nothing but love in him."
Social Media Condolences
Numerous others have expressed their condolences to Ben on social media. Amanda wrote: "Fly high Ben, thinking of your family, children and true friends! You always had a smile on your face when I saw you." Melissa commented: "So sad for you Ben you will be missed absolutely gutted for your family and your true friends R.I.P buddy xxx." Police Investigation
According to CornwallLive, emergency services were summoned to Moorfield Car Park in Calenick Street at approximately 10.45am on Monday, August 17. Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed the death is being treated as unexplained, with substantial enquiries underway to determine what happened.
