Emergency services are on Aigburth Road in Aigburth this evening, Wednesday September 2, after a woman was hit by a car. Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service are currently at the scene, which has seen the busy road closed in both directions.
Air ambulance attends scene
Eye witnesses reported a crash on the road around 6pm. It's understood the air ambulance has also attended the scene.
