Tributes to 'caring' couple killed in Kent car crash

Loved ones have paid touching tributes to a popular and well-loved couple who were tragically killed when their car smashed into trees in Kent.

Fatal crash on A228

Emergency services were called to the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, between Tonbridge Road and Old Church Road in Kent, on May 18 following reports of a collision. Craig Pangrazi-Simpson, 64, and his partner, Elizabeth Pangrazi-Simpson, 60, had been travelling on the road when their vehicle left the carriageway and veered into trees, according to Kent Police.

Craig, who was driving the silver Renault Megane, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle was travelling from Pembury towards Whetsted when it left the nearside carriageway, entered woodland, and crashed into trees. Elizabeth was airlifted to a hospital in London but later died from her injuries.

Heartfelt tributes from family

Elizabeth's sons, Josh and Jake, described the couple as "the kindest, happiest and most loving people you could ever meet." They added: "They were both incredibly bubbly, caring, and always brought warmth and laughter wherever they went. Family meant everything to them, and they would always go above and beyond for others. Their loss has left a huge void in all of our lives, and they will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved them."

Craig's daughter, Millie, remembered her father as a "happy, kind, gentle man" who was "popular and loved by everyone he met." She said: "His kindness, warmth and constant effort will always be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. My dad was one of the first people in my life to make me feel safe, understood and deeply loved. Even though we hadn't spoken in a while, my love for him remained. May my dad and his wife, Elizabeth, rest in peace."
