The family of three-year-old Noah Woods, who was found dead in a lake following a widespread public search in Brantham, have paid tribute to him. In a statement issued through Suffolk Police, they described him as “a happy, cheeky, playful” boy “who loved to laugh, loved to giggle and who brought joy wherever he went”.

In the same tribute, the toddler's mother, Charlie, urged people to “hold their children a little tighter”.
Noah's disappearance prompted a huge search involving more than 1,000 people.
