Cat Deeley has revealed her greatest "worry" following her divorce from Patrick Kielty as she defended her choice to relocate the family from the United States. Cat and Patrick, who share two sons, Milo and James, separated in 2025 after 12 years of marriage.
Since then, both have moved forward, tentatively re-entering the dating scene. The family had spent 15 years in California, residing in a £2.1 million mansion complete with its own gym and swimming pool. However, they eventually returned to the UK, with Cat previously stating that she "wanted the boys to be educated here."
Cat's 'worry' for her children
Cat has now turned her attention to a new property, away from the former family residence in North London. She maintains that returning to Britain was undoubtedly the correct choice.
Cat told the Sun: "I probably worry about the kids more now than I did then (when they were younger). I just want them to be happy, and I tend to worry a little bit too much.
"Sometimes, when I can't sleep at night, I go into this kind of spiral of, 'Will they be happy, and will they find something that they love to do?' and 'Will they find someone to love?' You just want the best for them."
Support system and UK return
Cat described having a "great team" supporting her, including a "brilliant" nanny who acts as her "right-hand." She also stood by her decision to return to the UK, describing it as "one of my good decisions."
Cat said: "She's just ace. It was one of my good decisions to come back to the UK so that I could be close to my family and my friends, and also so the boys can go to school here."
Moving on after the split
Patrick was spotted the previous month enjoying a dinner date at a London pub with businesswoman Michelle McManus. Observers claimed to Heat that they "looked very cosy" and were "talking and laughing for more than three hours."
A source told the magazine: "Cat genuinely wants Patrick to be happy, and she always knew there would come a point when they would both begin moving on."
Back in July, Cat was seen on a date with film executive Charlie Coleman at a Lewis Capaldi concert in Hyde Park.
Cat was photographed wearing a black jumpsuit and sunglasses and carrying a Chanel bag, while Charlie opted for a navy T-shirt and blue shorts. As Capaldi performed, the pair were observed drumming along to the music and sharing laughs.
An observer told The Sun: "The pair were all smiles, laughing and animatedly chatting. At one point, Charlie touched Cat's bare back affectionately, and she was also tactile with him as they sipped on drinks in paper cups. They seemed very relaxed with each other and shared several jokes."
