Two teenagers have died and a third is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a Tesla crashed into a tree in Surrey. The collision occurred on Holland Road in Hurst Green shortly before 10pm on Saturday.
One male teenager died at the scene, and a second died later in hospital. Their families have been informed and are being supported by officers. A third teenager remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Tesla, a 30-year-old man from Oxted, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses and any CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage. Holland Road remains closed between Popes Lane and Warren Lane while investigations continue.
