Three Dead in Perth Car Crash After Vehicle Hits Tree

Three people have tragically died following a severe car crash in Stoneville, east of Perth, where a vehicle left the road and struck a tree, resulting in the roof being torn open. The incident occurred on Stoneville Road just before 9am on Saturday, involving a high-powered car that crashed off the roadway.

Witness Accounts of the Devastating Scene

Eyewitnesses reported arriving at the scene to find the car mangled and wedged between two trees. One witness told 9News, 'I came around the corner and saw the car there wedged between two trees. It was pretty serious. The roof was semi ripped open. It was pretty mangled and it's an old car too, so it's made out of proper steel.'

The witness added, 'It was wedged inside two trees - only 1.5 - maybe 2m wide. A tree was on top of it as well. A bobcat was already here getting ready to pull it off, just trying to open it up for the emergency services as best they could for when they got here.'
